摘要: Recently, activation-dependant structural brain plasticity in humans has been demonstrated adults after three months of training a visio-motor skill. Learning three-ball cascade juggling was associated with transient and highly selective increase gray matter the occipito-temporal cortex comprising motion sensitive area hMT/V5 bilaterally. However, exact time-scale usage-dependant changes occur is still unknown. A better understanding temporal parameters may help to elucidae what extent this type cortical contributes fast adapting processes that be relevant learning. Using 3 tesla scanner monitoring whole structure we repeated extended our original study 20 healthy adult volunteers, focussing on aspects investigated whether these are performance or exercise dependant. The data confirmed earlier observation using conjunction analysis addition showed learning juggle can alter as early 7 days training. Neither nor alone could explain there changes. We suggesr qualitative change (i.e. new task) more critical for its than simple task once learned.
