摘要: The Flaviviridae family includes several virus pathogens associated with human diseases worldwide. Within this family, Dengue is the most serious threat to public health, especially in tropical and sub-tropical regions of world. Currently, there are no vaccines or specific antiviral drugs against viruses family. Therefore, development discovery therapeutic compounds medically important flaviviruses remain a global health priority. We previously showed that phospholipase A2 isolated from venom Crotalus durissus terrificus was able inhibit Yellow fever infection Vero cells. Here, we present evidence has direct effect on particles, inducing partial exposure genomic RNA, which strongly suggests inhibition via cleavage glycerophospholipids at lipid bilayer envelope. This might induce disruption causes destabilization E proteins surface, resulting inactivation. show by computational analysis gain access through pores found each twenty 3-fold vertices protein shell surface. In addition, inactivate other enveloped viruses, highlighting its potential as natural product lead for developing broad-spectrum drugs.
