摘要: Despite the fact that biological processes of chiral pesticides are enantioselective, biotoxicity methamidophos with respect to enantioselectivity has so far received limited research. In this study, enantiomeric separation and two enantiomers were investigated. Successful enantioseparation using high-performance liquid chromatography on a Chiralcel OD column was achieved. As indicated by optical rotation circular dichroism detection, (+)-methamidophos eluted prior (-)-methamidophos. The t test at 95% level confidence significant differences between in their vitro inhibition toward acetylcholinesterases bovine erythrocytes Electrophorus electricus vivo acute aquatic toxicity Daphnia magna. assays showed (-)-methamidophos about 8.0-12.4 times more potent enzymes than its (+)-form. contrast, (+)-enantiomer 7.0 toxic D. magna 48 h tests. racemic intermediate both bioassays. These results suggest OPs nontargeted organisms is enantioselective therefore should be reevaluated pure enantiomers.
