摘要: We examined the mycorrhizal type of 128 plant species in two patches native vegetation Chaco Serrano Woodland, central Argentina, largest dry forest area South America. Of investigated (belonging to 111 genera 53 families), 114 were colonized by arbuscular fungi (AM), orchid associations present five terrestrial analyzed, one ectomycorrhiza was only Salix humboldtiana Willd., and 96 harbored a dark septate endophyte (DSE) association. Co-occurrence AM DSE observed 88 species. determine morphological types (Arum, Paris, intermediate structures) report status 106 new species, 12 which are endemic Argentina two, Aa achalensis Schltr. Buddleja cordobensis Griseb., declared be vulnerable Root colonization Woodland is widespread should considered revegetation programs due deterioration this particular ecosystem. Considering predominance various potential benefits that these may bring establishment, they receive special attention conservation reforestation woodlands.
