摘要: 12-O-TETRADECANOYL PHORBOL-13-ACETATE (TPA), a potent tumour-promoting agent, stimulates the proliferation of various cell types, including fibroblasts, in culture (see ref. 1 for review). Recent studies have demonstrated that there is close correlation between potency phorbol esters promoting skin tumours and their ability to stimulate DNA synthesis cultured cells2. The growth-stimulating activity TPA completely dependent on presence serum nutrient medium. This requirement has been cultures mouse epidermal cells3 fibroblastic cells4,5. role cellular response remains unresolved.
