Effect of Rice Husk on the Mechanical Properties of Cement-Based Mortar

摘要: This paper presents an experimental study on effect of rice husk the mechanical properties cement-based mortar. Cement-based mortar enhanced with between 0 and 2% by weight was cured tested 7, 14, 21 28 days for their properties. The 0.5% specimens achieved 24% 6% increase in tensile compressive strengths, respectively, over control. SEM analysis revealed a good bond matrix. concludes that inclusion positively affects is recommended to construction practitioners as enhancement application.
