Autogenous bone graft combined with buccal fat pad as barrier in treatment of Class II furcation defect: a case report.

摘要: The treatment of furcation defects is a complex and difficult task that may compromise the success periodontal therapy. Here we report new clinical Class II defect using an autogenous bone graft associated with buccal fat pad (BFP) used as membrane. surgical was performed following initial Post-operative follow-up appointments were at 3, 7, 12 months. Clinically, after 3 7 months, reduction in probing depth without bleeding on increase vertical horizontal attachment level observed. After post-operative keratinized gingiva Radiographically, significant improvement noted, almost completely closed. These results could also be observed postoperative It can concluded combined use BFP yielded clinically favorable outcome mandibular defect.
