Possible Application of Wavefront Coding to the LSST

摘要: Wavefront Coding has been applied as a means to increase the effective depth of focus optical systems. In this note I discuss potential for technique LSST and resulting advantages construction operation facility, well possible drawbacks. It may be apply without changing current design, in which case might merit further study risk mitigation strategy.
