X-ray radiation channeling in micro-channel plates: Spectroscopy with a synchrotron radiation beam

摘要: Abstract We present here the angular distribution of radiation propagated inside MultiChannel Plates with micro-channels ∼3 μm diameter. The spectra collected at exit channels a complex contributions that can be assigned to fluorescence radiation, originated from excitation micro-channel walls. For above absorption edge, when monochromatic energy in region Si L-edge hits walls grazing angle θ ⩾ 5°, or O K-edge ⩾ 2° is detected. Additional information associated fine structures XANES detected MCPs are also presented and discussed.
