摘要: An evaluation of the source volatile organic compounds in groundwater samples was performed at a landfill southern California. The 3H (tritium) content water leachate and from gas-collection system (condensed entrained droplets) δ 13C 14C inorganic carbon gas CO2, leachate, were used to characterize dissolved (DIC) inside landfill, while same parameters monitored affected monitoring wells an unaffected well. Tritium levels condensate ranged approximately 2000 TU over 4000 TU, orders magnitude higher than groundwater. average DIC pore-water 121 pMC 93 pMC, with VOC detections 105 119 pMC. pore consistently above 0‰ −20.3‰, increased −17.3 −13.2‰. increases both gas-impacted generally correlated number detected their concentrations. Based on tritium compared those water, significant would be expected accompany caused by water. results rule out as source, leaving source. identities concentrations specific VOCs varied among well between two samples, ruling use “fingerprint” for or
