摘要: Prostaglandin (PG) D2 is the major PG in central nervous system of mammals including humans, and exhibits various neural functions such as, sleep induction, modulation olfactory function, hypothermia so forth. In this paper, we describe two recent findings our laboratory related to enzymatic synthesis degradation PGD,, namely (1) PGD synthetase rat brain shifts from neurons o’ligodendroglia during maturation (2) PGD2 11ketoreductase converts PGH2 PGF2α 9α,11s-PGF2 respectively.
