摘要: In this study, we explore the constitution of user representations robots in design practice. Using results ethnographic research two robot laboratories, show how emerge and are entangled with activities. Our study speaks to growing popularity investment robotics, other forms artificial intelligence. Scholars Science Technology Studies (STS) have shown that it is often difficult for designers engineers develop accurate ideas about potential users such technologies. However, social context settings themselves received significantly less attention. Based on our laboratory ethnographies, argue practices which engaged important as they can shape kind images create. To capture these dynamics, propose new concepts: 'image-evoking activities' well 'user image landscape'. findings provide pertinent input researchers, policy-makers, raise questions regards contemporary fears replacing humans, effectiveness involvement participatory design, studies STS. If activities co-constitute develop, a greater awareness needed specifically locales types technologies takes place.
