摘要: Abstract Avian H5N1 influenza viruses isolated from humans in Hong Kong 1997 were divided into two antigenic groups based on the presence or absence of a potential glycosylation site at amino acid residues 154–156 HA1 region viral hemagglutinin (HA) surface glycoprotein. To assess impact immunogenicity an HA-expressing DNA vaccine, series plasmid vaccine constructs that differed sites 154–156, 165–167, and 286–288 used to immunize BALB/c mice. Postvaccination serum IgG, hemagglutination inhibition, neutralizing antibody titers as well morbidity mortality following lethal challenge did not vary significantly among any experimental groups. We conclude pattern virus domain has little murine response raised encoding H5 HA, thereby minimizing concern encoded by match those closely related viruses.
