摘要: We analyze the dynamical models of massive early-type galaxy NGC 1399, central Fornax cluster. use sample 790 globular clusters as tracers gravitational potential and we first extract kinematics, which is then dynamically modeled. find that velocity dispersion remains high approximately constant throughout whole departures from Gaussian distribution orbits are not large. spherical Jeans equation in both Newtonian MOND approaches, assuming three cases orbital anisotropies: study isotropic, tangentially radially anisotropic order to establish best-fitting values mass-to-light ratios. found approximation a significant amount dark matter needed Navarro-Frenk-White (NFW) model with halo provides satisfactory description kinematics 1399. tested (standard, simple toy) none them can provide fit profile without inclusion matter. Finally, using our findings, placed 1399 within context other observed galaxies discuss its location among them.
