Eco-Environmental Problems in Western China and the Countermeasure Suggestions

摘要: According to researches, the main eco-environment problems in Western China could be described as follows. ① Ecological factors were threatened, manifest vegetation decline, land degradation, water pollution and shortage of ecological requirement. ② The ecosystem service function, such production regulatory function biological diversity maintenance declined. ③ Carrying capacity for social economic development was weakened; economy suffered enormous losses due deterioration. It is suggested that, protect rehabilitate environment China, management fashion should adopted, important areas protected priority, funds protection increased, compensation mechanism established.
