摘要: This paper investigates the root cause of an industrial fire that occurred within a high airflow rate, duct system connected to metal inert gas (MIG) welding operation. A full-scale experiment was conducted, with aid infrared thermographic recording monitor thermal behavior (cooling rates) flying spatters and splashes, visualize their interaction cellulose filter banks. Several operational scenarios were duplicated critical conditions identified. study also provided new information about size, speed, splash angle distribution. The findings from current work might lead effective mitigation strategies for ventilation systems containing filters.
