摘要: In order to predict and enhance the material properties of blends, it is important understand nature underlying mechanism blending at molecular level. As such miscibility phase-separation phenomena polymer blends have received significant attention in applications. this chapter, connection between free-volume blend explored. recent years, Positron Annihilation Spectroscopy (PAS) has emerged as a unique potent probing tool for characterizing polymers based materials. investigations spanning two decades both discrete lifetime components (average free volume size) distribution hole sizes been analysed. It found that connecting directly inadequate hence hydrodynamic interactions approach description composition dependent level seems be versatile. Considerable amount data literature on binary revisited interpreted work. We show that, more effective especially partially miscible which some inferences were vague. Therefore, present chapter establishes interaction versatile method developed same data.
