摘要: Observations made from Kitt Peak, AZ, of the 233.9 GHz emission line 18O16O in upper stratosphere and lower mesosphere are reported. A good model fit to is obtained by incorporation pressure temperature broadening effects, as well a Zeeman splitting algorithm that uses standard geomagnetic field paramagnetic Hamiltonian description molecular energy states. These observations used, along with known mixing ratio, establish absolute calibration for other chemical species Peak. Repeated measurements show no change this between observation dates. The wide magnetic (±1.8. MHz) exhibited only six components provides unique test middle atmosphere effect calculations, supporting use O2 lines microwave atmospheric sounders measure temperature.
