摘要: A fast, efficient and scalable algorithm is proposed, in this paper, for re-encoding of perceptually quantized wavelet-packet transform (WPT) coefficients audio high quality speech called "adaptive variable degree-k zero-trees" (AVDZ). The quantization process carried out by taking into account some basic perceptual considerations, achieves good subjective with low complexity. performance the proposed AVDZ compared two other zero-tree-based schemes comprising: 1- Embedded Zero-tree Wavelet (EZW) 2- set partitioning hierarchical trees (SPIHT). Since EZW SPIHT are designed image compression, modifications incorporated these their better matching to signals. It shown that can improve about 15-25%. Furthermore, it concluded outperforms modified versions terms both output average bit-rates computation times.
