摘要: Abstract The present study was conducted to correlate rotenone-induced neurotoxicity with cellular and molecular modifications in neuronal supportive cells rat brain regions. Rotenone administered (3, 6 12 μg/μl) intranigrally adult male Sprague-Dawley rats. After the 7th day of rotenone treatment, specific protein markers for – tyrosine hydroxylase (TH), astroglial glial fibrillary acidic (GFAP), microglial CD11b/c, Iba-1 were evaluated by immunoblotting immunofluorescence striatum (STR) mid (MB). Apoptotic cell death assessed caspase-3 gene expression. Higher doses significantly lowered TH levels elevated MB. All increased GFAP CD11b/c In STR, but did not affect TH, levels. Caspase-3 expression all MB STR only higher (6 12 μg). It may be suggested that activation apoptosis play an important role neurotoxicity. appeared as more sensitive than toward toxicity. emerged susceptible STR.
