摘要: This paper deals with a non-linear modal parameter extraction technique which is suitable for the analysis of MDOF systems. The compatible existing linear tools in sense that modified summation used determination response. numerical study focused on 4 DOF system friction damping non-linearity, (simulated) measured responses being obtained via harmonic balance method at some given excitation level. parameters were extracted iteratively as function vibration amplitude and it was possible to predict response other level using identified parameters. findings checked against direct simulations very good agreement observed all cases.
