摘要: In order to reveal patterns of ontogenetic change in occlusal shape evergrowing molars arvicolines, an intravital tooth printing method was applied 20 individuals Microtus gregalis born captivity. Complexity the first lower molar were assessed by morphotype analysis anteroconid complex. Morphotype dental monitored using prints at 0.5, 1, 2, 3 months age, and postmortem. Ontogenetic changes complexity bilateral symmetry among right left same individual during process wear assessed. Our results suggested that could not be clearly established half-month old animals due presence juvenile characters. For 1 month older, age differences non-significant negligible compared among-individual variation. Within-individual molars, when present, related animal suggesting asymmetry pattern regarded as inherent characteristic persisting post-juvenile wear.
