First Order Phase Transition in Finite Density QCD using the modulus of the Dirac Determinant

摘要: We report results of simulations strong coupling, finite density QCD obtained within a MFA inspired approach where the fermion determinant in integration measure is replaced by its absolute value. Contrary to standard wisdom, we show that this clear signal phase transition appears with critical chemical potential extremely good agreement Glasgow algorithm. The modulus seems therefore preserve some relevant physical properties system. also analyze dependence our on quark mass, including both chiral and large mass limit, theory quenched approximation.
