摘要: This experimental study was designed to investigate the effects of constant and intermittent light on newborn infants. Changes in levels salivary cortisol were utilized as indications increased pituitary-adrenal activity. The sample consisted 99 babies who classified state predominance sleep (Group A) or awake B) following a 3-hour observation period for each infant. group subjected control overhead lighting two consecutive nights. A 2 X ANOVA utilizing absolute change scores revealed statistically significant interaction between state. findings suggest that different conditions are related individual response differences. In light, may reflect previously assumed unobservable rhythmicity Group B diminution stress babies.
