摘要: While hamstring autograft is a popular option for the general population, BTB still significantly more among professional athletes due to concerns of altering knee kinematics with harvest. This study seeks quantify contribution medial hamstrings stability. Valgus laxity, anterior tibial translation, and rotational motion were measured in eight fresh-frozen cadaveric knees after forces applied on tibia each plane (coronal, sagittal, axial). Four muscle loading conditions tested: (1) physiologic fully loaded pes anserinus, (2) semitendinosus only loaded, (3) gracilis (4) unloaded anserinus. The protocol was then repeated ACL transected. In intact knee, neutral position an anserinus externally rotated (p < 0.01) anteriorly translated (p < 0.05) at all flexion angles than Applying external rotation torque increased (p < 0.001), angles. valgus resulted significant increase laxity condition 30° (p < 0.05). force translation (p < 0.01), 60° Similar results seen deficient model. are involved rotational, translational, varus/valgus control knee. anterior, rotation, increases those planes. Harvesting tendons alters native clinically relevant should be consideration when choosing graft source reconstruction, especially elite athlete population.
