Phenolic resin compositions with improved impact resistance

摘要: Phenolic siloxane composition are prepared by 1) combining phenol with an aldehyde and alkoxy or silanol-functional silicone intermediate, 2) a phenolic novolac resin formaldehyde donor intermediate 3) resole intermediate. Catalysts to facilitate the formation of resin, condensation hydrolysis and/or can optionally be added. The resulting comprises IPN polymers has flame, heat chemical resistance equal exceeding conventional resins improved impact resistance, tensile strength, flexural modulus density.
