摘要: Abstract Preparation of the solid solution Ti 2 AlC 0.5 N from powder compacts composed Ti, Al 4 C 3 , and or AlN was investigated by self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS) under gaseous nitrogen. The molar proportion three reactant powders formulated as Ti:Al :Al (or AlN) = 2:1/6:1/3. For both types samples, increase nitrogen pressure 0.45 to 1.82 MPa augments combustion temperature thus accelerates reaction front.
