摘要: The oncogenes (v-onc genes) of rapidly transforming retroviruses have homologs (c-onc in the genomes normal cells. In this study, we characterized and quantitated transcription from four c-onc genes, c-myb, c-myc, c-erb, c-src, a variety chicken cells tissues. Electrophoretic analysis polyadenylated RNA, followed by transfer to nitrocellulose hybridization cloned onc probes showed that c-src each give rise single mature transcript, whereas c-erb gives multiple transcripts (B. Vennstrom J. M. Bishop, Cell, press) which vary abundance among different Transcription was "dot-blot" assay. We found could be detected nearly all tissues examined, c-myb only some hemopoietic cells; these cells, however, belong several lineages. Thus, no case expression gene restricted cell lineage. There appeared correlation between levels activity suggests may expressed primarily immature An examination RNA target for viruses carrying corresponding v-onc genes revealed obvious correlation, direct or inverse, susceptibility transformation given homologous gene.
