摘要: Quantum effects in biological systems have recently been studied extensively the fields of quantum computing (QC) and information processing (QIP). The focus this review is on coherences entanglement properties created natural photosynthesis, whose understanding may be crucial for achieving remarkable efficiency its excitation energy transfer. In beginning, an overview electron transfer photosynthetic reaction centers (RCs) light-harvesting complexes (LHCs) given. Then physical aspects spin-correlated radical pairs (SCRPs) are described, which ubiquitous intermediates a wide range biochemical reactions. Examples given mainly with relation to RCs LHCs, persist at room temperature, since such long-lived storage manipulation. Where appropriate, experimental observations artificial molecular assemblies also briefly surveyed. second part, site-directed spin-labeling pulsed electron-electron double resonance (PELDOR or DEER) becoming important techniques QC/QIP.
