摘要: Giemsa was first used as a fluorescent dye for mineralized bone and cartilage in tissue sections. The aim of this study to establish the use mineralizing bone-like nodules produced cell cultures. Osteoblasts were grown under conditions 14 days, producing typical nodules. Upon staining with stock solution 1 min, could be selectively visualized emitting intense green red fluorescence when observed blue illumination, respectively. textural details clearly microscopy, allowing identify regions different degrees mineralization. nature confirmed using von Kossa's method, Alizarin Red S x-ray mapping Ca P scanning electron microscope, showing strong correlation between selective related mineral phase, being absent decalcified samples. presents simple alternative method quickly analyze biomineralization assays vitro particularly biological evaluation biomaterials.
