摘要: Using a nationally representative survey, this study examines the performance of social protection in Azerbaijan from perspective poverty reduction. Empirical evidence presented suggests that programmes have an important impact on alleviation. However, is still widespread. The findings demonstrate current system has several limitations. First, significant proportion poor population not covered by system. Second, typically receive smaller share total benefits than non-poor.
