摘要: We investigated physiological and morphological traits underlying variation in relative growth rate (KGR) among wheat cultivars. Subsequently, we determined whether higher RGR is correlated with water demand lower plant use efficiency (WUEp). Further, the correlation between leaf nitrogen concentration was examined. For this purpose chose lour cultivars contrasting or WUEp. Gas exchange of shoots respiration roots were measured on intact plants over a 24 h period, total carbon concentrations all parts determined. The highest achieved by area ratio. WUEp strongly dependent photosynthetic for photosynthesis, which rates photosynthesis per unit nitrogen. found no evidence functional genetic link differences (specific ratio) those causing (photosynthetic transpiration rate). These results indicate that, wheat, it may be possible to select simultaneously associated high RGR.
