摘要: ABSTRACT . The results of an electrophoretic analysis allozyme (allelic isozyme) variation at 5 loci in E. coli from diverse natural sources are incompatible with the “neutral” hypothesis, that mobility is due largely to random genetic drift many adaptively equivalent alleles. effective number classes small, and they distributed discontinuously over a considerable range. Neither relationship charge change amino acid substitution, nor sharp reduction possible alleles, any likely spatiotemporal population structures species can provide way out this conclusion.
