摘要: 124 patients with acute diarrhoea due to Vibrio cholerae or Escherichia coli were treated either the standard sucrose-electrolyte solution a cereal-based electrolyte solution, containing 30 g rice powder per litre and electrolytes as recommended by World Health Organisation. The treatments compared measuring rate of purging, change in body weight, serum specific gravity, urine output, post-hydrolysis sugar content stool. proportions successfully rice-powder group 80% for cholera 88% E. patients--no different from those receiving solution. Failure was rates purging that exceeded patient's ability drink enough replacement This study suggests is efficient safe use rehydrating oral fluid diarrhoea.
