Praeradiolites ciryi, a polymorphicrudist from Upper Santonian and Campanian carbonate formations of the Castilian ramp (Northern Spain)

摘要: Abstract On the basis of analysis more than one hundred specimens Praeradiolites ciryi Floquet , 1991 it is shown that this rudist yielded by Upper Santonian and Campanian carbonate formations Northern Spain, presents a wide range variability in size, shape ornamentation shell. Given all morphological intermediates exist architectural pattern shell structure appear identical as well, variation regarded truly intraspecific. Part polymorphism probably related to available space for growing within biostrome on hand, nature substrate other hand.
