Solubilities of ethanol, 1-propanol, 2-propanol and 1- butanol in supercritical carbon dioxide at 313 K and 333 K

Using a flow-type apparatus for fluid extraction, solubilities an alcohol CO2 have been measured up to 11 MPa. Ethanol, 2-propanol were selected as the alcohols. Consistency obtained solubility data was tested by enhancement factor method, which showed good consistency all systems. The logarithmic values factors alcohols observed be linear functions pure density. Employing this relationship, can easily determined with high accuracy.
