摘要: The role of salicylic acid (SA) was investigated in basal defence and induced resistance to powdery mildew (Oidium neolycopersici) grey mould (Botrytis cinerea) tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum) tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum). A comparison NahG transgenic (unable accumulate SA) their respective wild types revealed that tomato, SA not involved against O. neolycopersici but showed an enhanced susceptibility infection, the effect becoming more obvious as plants grew older. In contrast, played no B. cinerea, seemed contribute cinerea. Activation SA-dependent pathway via benzothiadiazole (BTH) resulted tomato. Microscopic analysis BTH treatment could prevent penetration Oidium germ tube through leaves, whereas successful on leaves irrespective treatment. soil or leaf with cinerea tobacco. It is concluded effective different pathogens
