摘要: This study was inspired by the more locally oriented processing style in autism spectrum disorders (ASD). A modified multiple object tracking (MOT) task administered to a group of children with and without ASD. Participants not only had distinguish moving targets from distracters, but they also track when were visually grouped manipulation which has detrimental effect on performance adults. MOT ASD affected grouping, this significantly reduced. result highlights how reduced bias towards global could influence further stages cognition altering way attention selects information for processing.
