摘要: Growing concern has arisen from the quasi-exponential increase in numbers and quantities of man-made chemicals that presently are current use, their potential effects on human health, especially delayed degenerative diseases such as cancer. It is estimated at least 50,000 have been introduced environment since end 40’s common use. However, only a few hundred submitted to thorough carcinogenicity studies experimental animals, whereas relevant data — mainly through epidemiological approaches obtained for dozen compounds; other hand, several thousands short-term assays performed order ascertain some more punctual chemicals, genotoxicity.
