摘要: Abstract Poly(A+) RNA isolated from FRTL-5 cells (a continuous line of cultured and fully functional rat thyroid (Ambesi-Impiombato, F. S., Parks, L. A. M., Coons, H. G. (1980) Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. U. S. 77, 3455-3459] was injected into Xenopus laevis oocytes, the expression Na+/I- symporter in plasma membrane assayed by measuring Na+-dependent ClO4--sensitive uptake 125I. Expression detected as a 7-fold average increase transport over background, 5-6 days after injection. subsequently fractionated sucrose gradient centrifugation, fractions were for their ability to induce I- activity. The poly(A+) encoding found fraction containing messages 2.8-4.0 kilobases length.
