摘要: Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) is a suitable construction method for crossing beneath obstacles, such as rivers and lakes, highways, or special areas airport runways. In particular, HDD the most appropriate, cost effective constructing new water wastewater pipelines where excavation not practical possible. operations are capable of traversing various soil conditions meeting wide variety project requirements (pipe size material, placement distance depth). Nonetheless, specific details important factors in determining productivity overall operation, these must therefore be carefully investigated during design phase. The present case study provides observed values (ft/hr) different formations (shaly clay, sandy shale, silty clay) based on at single site, serving pilot project. variation reaming stage provided encountered (diameter), while other (e.g., contractor machine) remain constant.
