摘要: In exurbia, societal desires for open space experiences may impact these very characteristics and their ecological services. This paper examines how nearby space, differences among types of spaces, be related to exurban homeowners’ home-buying choice. an image-based web survey 494 homeowners in southeast Michigan, we investigated the importance different factors choice preferences seven spaces. Our study confirms that is important choice, ranking second only home price. Among types, most preferred are forests, lakes streams, followed by wetlands prairie. Playing fields golf courses least preferred. When compared perceptions who considered less choosing current neighborhood with those it more important, had significantly stronger lakes, prairie types.
