摘要: Readiness for change, as assessed by the readiness and motivation interview (RMI), predicts a number of clinical outcome variables in eating disorders including enrollment intensive treatment, symptom dropout, relapse. Although clinically useful, training administration RMI is time consuming. The purpose this research was to (a) develop self-report, symptom-specific version RMI, questionnaire (RMQ), that can be used assess change across all disorder diagnoses (b) establish its psychometric properties. RMQ provides stage internality, confidence scores each 4 domains (restriction, bingeing, cognitive compensatory behaviors). Individuals (N = 244) with current completed measures convergent, discriminant, criterion validity. Similar scores, on differed according domain. Regarding validity, were significantly associated ratings anticipated difficulty recovery activities completion activities. contributed significant unique variance activities, beyond those accounted measure global readiness. thus an acceptable alternative providing domain-specific information when or cost prohibits use interview.
