摘要: Abstract A model for the myosin filament is presented. The based on: (1) staining pattern observed with anti-myosin in electron microscopy and its relation to M-line pseudo-H-zone; (2) presence of six radially distributed bridges between filaments M-line; (3) triangular profiles seen cross-sections thick through pseudo-H-zone. most significant features are that packing molecules along altered by tapered ends overlap pseudo-H-zone, ordered A-band positions restricted ability form M-bridges approximately 430-A repeat period generally can be accounted solely on basis superposition cross-bridges. has following important structural characteristics: aggregated parallel rows; pseudo-H-zone tail (L-meromyosin) everywhere else head tail; region there abutment same row; (4) ends, an one (approx. 430 A) each (5) 12 rows a cross-section 18 ends; (6) packed so profile obtained Nine surface three centrally located; (7) these make up sets four rows. In set two pairs. There stagger one-third pair
