摘要: We describe non-invasive molecular techniques for species, sex, and individual identification using fecal of the sympatric Japanese serow (Capricornis crispus) sika deer (Cervus nippon), in Japan. From screening 19 microsatellites 52 tissue samples two we selected 14 10 highly polymorphic loci deer, respectively, which five could be amplified across species. First, species cross-species-amplifiable sex based on a partial amelogenin gene sequence were conducted 194 from Eastern Shikoku, PCR amplification 65 new relatively pellets identified 35 30 deer. In serow, individuals (7 males 7 females) 11 microsatellites. (11 8 9 This genetic technique should useful to study distribution, flow, ratio, population size
