摘要: Clusters theory and their application have been subject to several theoretical practical approaches within the framework of regional economic development throughout last decade worldwide. Many studies gone about identifying clusters in diverse contexts, nevertheless fundamentally based upon qualitative or quantitative (rarely both) tending overlook fundamental methodological aspects inherent operational functioning clusters. Furthermore, very few focused on tourism sector with recourse specialisation measurements. This research aims contribute towards narrowing empirical shortcomings through proposal a methodology capable robustly locating industry Portugal. As results we identified specific number distributed across ten activity sectors related accommodation, restaurants, entertainment events
