摘要: A key challenge of public health nutrition is to provide the majority population with a sufficient level micronutrients while preventing high-consumers from exceeding tolerable upper intake level. Data 2014 Belgian food consumption survey (n = 3200) were used assess fat-soluble vitamin (vitamins A, D, E and K) foods, fortified foods supplements. This study revealed inadequate intakes for all sources, in entire possible inadequacies D. The prevalence was lowest children aged 3-6 (6-7%) highest adolescents (girls, 26%; boys, 34-37%). Except women 60-64 years, more than 95% subjects had D sources below adequate (AI) 15 μg/day. risk vitamins K low (median > AI). fortification supplementation practices are currently eradicate suboptimal but increase median close intake. For small proportion (1-4%) young at (UL), inclusion supplements slightly increased excessive (% UL) adult children. results may guide authorities when developing interventions regulations ensure Belgium.
