摘要: Movement disorders often emerge from the interplay of complex pathophysiological processes involving kidneys and nervous system. Tremor, myoclonus, ataxia, chorea, parkinsonism can occur in context renal dysfunction (azotemia electrolyte abnormalities) or they be part complications its management (dialysis transplantation). On other hand, myoglobinuria rhabdomyolysis status dystonicus certain drugs used movement cause nephrotoxicity. Distinct these well-recognized associations, it is important to appreciate that there are several inherited acquired which abnormalities do not as a consequence vice versa but manifestations common affecting system kidneys. These emphasis this review. Increasing awareness conditions among neurologists may help them identify involvement earlier, take timely intervention by anticipating focus on therapies targeting mechanisms addition symptomatic disorders. Recognition impairment patient with neurological presentation narrow down differentials aid reaching definite diagnosis.
