摘要: Abstract Light is the most significant parameter for microalgal growth and light distribution inside flat panel photobioreactor critical to assess photosynthetic productivity of Botryococcus braunii. In algal photobioreactors, self shading cells reduces effective penetration. The local intensity essential efficient designs. this study B. braunii was grown in under varying intensity. Maximum biomass concentration maximum specific rate were 1.8 g L−1 1.344 d−1 respectively at 800 μmol m−2 s−1. lipid content yield 27.37% 0.146 g mol photons−1 450 μmol m−2 s−1 results reported used with radiative transport equation (RTE) accurately predict optimize photobioreactors production. Finally, simulation RTE also suggests, cell (>0.41 g L−1) multiple scattering diffusive reflections reduced Based on these results, optimal conditions production found be mid level i.e. which allows maximizing use energy by produce lipid.
