The associations between conditions, somatic growth, physical activity fitness reflect changes.Aim: study documented variation in associated with socio-economic status (SES).Subjects methods: involved 507 subjects (256 boys 251 girls) the Madeira Growth Study, mixed longitudinal of five cohorts (8, 10, 12, 14 16 years age) followed at yearly intervals 3 (1996–1998). A total 1493 observations were made. Anthropometric measurements included lengths, body mass, skeletal breadths, girths skinfolds.
